But if I view one of those pages on a non-mobile device then
clicking mobile does nothing.

Hmmm, I disagree. I think the point is to enable options.

But more importantly - if someone is on a mobile device and
switches to FULL then they need to be able to switch back to
mobile. That means having the switch on both the full and mobile
versions. Right? Or am I misunderstanding something?

They should be able to switch back else you have sort of helped
them through a door and then locked it behind them.

To have a full|mobile switch that is just one way with no coming
back is not very good UI design.

Greg

Or is there something here I don't get? The switch should appear
on both templates, full and mobile.

I am adding a dedicated mobile site to an existing one using
Structure, so Mobile seems to be the perfect add-on to redirect to
a completely new set of templates. I am developing on a local
server with a duplicate of the live site. Is it possible to
use/force the mobile site on a desktop? I tried the
{mobile:switch_to_mobile} tag, but as per the above, which makes
sense, it doesn't work. If this could be bypassed, it would be a
huge help during development.

Thanks!

mobi
